Here we have put together a list of the most commonly asked questions about the Nutrition Select ordering process and the meals that are available for delivery.

Who do I contact if my meals don’t arrive?+
Please contact customer service on 1300 030 370 Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm.
When do I need to place my order by?+
NSW & VIC – Orders Delivered on Friday - Cut off time for placing your orders is 1 pm on the Monday prior to delivery. SA– Orders Delivered on Saturday - Cut off time for placing your order is 1 pm on the Monday prior to delivery. QLD – Orders Delivered on Friday - Cut off time for placing your order is 1 pm on the Wednesday prior to delivery.
What happens if I miss the cut-off date?+
If you miss the order cut-off date, your meal will be delivered the following week.
Food Safety
What meals are diabetes friendly?+
Our NE {Nourishing Meals] are approved by Nutrition Professionals Australia and are designed to meet the nutritional needs of seniors and are ‘diabetes friendly’. If you have diabetes you should consult and Accredited Practising Dietitian for individualised advice.
I have allergens, how is the food processed?+
Meals are prepared in the Aveo commercial kitchen with also processes common allergens including tree nuts and dairy products to which some clients may be allergic.
How do I heat the meals?+
Remove the cardboard sleeve and pierce film in several places then heat. We recommend you do not overheat meals as this may affect their quality. Microwave: 3-4 minutes [base on 900w] Conventional Oven: 180 degrees C (350 degrees F) for 20 minutes Fan Forced Over: 160 degrees C (325 degrees F) for 20 minutes
How long will my fresh meals last in the fridge?+
All fresh meals should be consumed within 5 days of receipt and stored in the refrigerator below 4 degrees(C)
Can I freeze my fresh cooked meals?+
All fresh cooked Nutrition Select meals can be frozen, unless provided pre frozen. Meals should be frozen on the day of delivery to guarantee quality and food safety. . For best quality we recommend defrosting meals before heating.

I need meals low in salt, what meal should I select?+
It is recommended that you select one of the HE [Health Eating] meals which are designated as meeting the Australian Guide to Health Eating and are lower in fat, saturated fat, sugar and salt.

I don’t eat onion or garlic how do I know what to order?+
We note the dishes that include garlic, however, the majority of our food use the onion and garlic as a flavour base on preparation so unless you have allergies to these, you should not have an issue.
Are the curries spicy hot?+
Our customers generally don’t like our curries spicy hot, so they are mild but they are flavoursome.
Ordering
How do I pay for my meals?+
Payment is by credit card only and your authorisation and details will be securely stored. The accounts department will automatically debit your credit card each time your order is placed.
